This practical course gives volunteer leaders serving at the local or state level a strong, consistent foundation to lead effectively and responsibly.

Using real boardroom examples in a podcast-style format, the course covers core leadership topics including fiduciary duty, antitrust compliance, governing documents, and more. It is designed to be engaging, easy to follow, and directly relevant to the roles and responsibilities of volunteer leaders. As an added benefit, enrolling your directors in this course also satisfies the NAR Core Standards requirement for leadership training.

  1. Fill out the Roster of Students
We will need all relevant contact information in this spreadsheet. Any columns left incomplete will likely delay upload of classes.
  2. Email the completed roster to education@car.org
We will manually upload the classes to the desired student profiles.
  3. Students launch their class

All students will then receive an email notifying them they have been assigned a new course. They will have login instructions and access to the class for 1 year from the assigned date. They can log in from any laptop or desktop to complete the coursework.

That’s it! Good luck in your classes and please contact education@car.org if there are any questions. Thank you!
